Taking a Bus (local)
Many universities have made fare arrangements to allow their students
to use their student IDs as bus passes. Check to see if your school has
such an arrangement. If not, yearly, monthly, weekly passes, trip tickets,
and schedules are available at Port Authority's Downtown Service Center
at 534 Smithfield St. (412-255-1356) and most universities.
Buses & Trains
Greyhound/Trailways provides inexpensive bus service to destinations
across the country. Pittsburgh station - Downtown (800-231-2222). While
Amtrak offers rail service to major cities from the downtown station.
