As one of the largest and most diverse social and human service organizations in the region, Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania serves thousands of people each year and helps thousands of individuals find jobs. With the financial support of our stores and other funding sources, we build strong families and vibrant communities through job training, placement and family support services for people who have disabilities, those who lack education or job experience, those with limited financial means, people with criminal backgrounds, veterans, youth and other vulnerable populations.
Goodwill SWPA is a widely recognized leader and community partner, whose mission is to help people improve their quality of life through work and related services. We reuse and recycle your donations to help us improve job and educational skills, careers and lives.
Goodwill Stores and Businesses
We operate more than 30 thrift stores selling donated clothing and housewares to help fund our programs and services for people with special needs. In addition, we operate several other nonprofit businesses, a major recycling center and a computer store. Goodwill stores sell thousands of donated goods, with everyday low prices, and new items placed on the floor hourly. By shopping at Goodwill SWPA, you help provide job training and placement opportunities for individuals in your community!
